Our Team

DO is a multi-disciplinary studio and RIAS Accredited practice based in Glasgow, working with artists, light and the built environment.

We are a deliberately small practice, and enjoy working closely with clients to deliver projects ranging from tiny interventions, to large scale urban strategy and built form.  We love making buildings with and for other people. 

We are fully committed to education in architecture through teaching at The Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art. We provide Design Studio Tutoring in the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate school and also deliver a taught lecture course in Architectural Technology (Principles of Building).

Adrian Stewart was awarded Young Architect of the Year 2002, at the Scottish Design Awards, and established DO as a limited company in 2005.  The practice received the GIA 2012 Small Practice Portfolio Award, and also received the RSA Gold Medal for Architecture 2012.
