i360 landscape

Following our work on the BAi360 for Marks Barfield, DO were approached by Brighton Council in order to provide lighting to the landscape area around the new viewing tower.

To the East of the Main Tower, The Piazza contained a selection of West Pier cast iron columns arranged in a Golden Spiral set within an open, flexible circulation space suitable for large numbers of visitors. While an Event Space to the West allows for a flexible outdoor entertainment programme throughout the year. Landscape Design on the project was by Fiona Atkinson Landscape Design.

A bespoke concept was designed utilising specific Iguzzini fittings. around historic columns placed in a spiral formation adjacent to the viewing tower. Additionally, integrated lighting to the distinctive, bespoke granite seating was introduced throughout to further increase ambient light throughout the hard landscaped area.
